1. Who We Are
KalamPrime is an OTT streaming service operated by Ishukart ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it when you use KalamPrime.
2. Information We Collect
Account details (name, email), authentication data (password hashes, or Google sign-in profile), your subscription plan and payment status, your My List, watch progress and viewing activity, a Kids PIN (stored only as a secure hash), and basic device/usage information.
3. How We Use Your Data
To provide and personalise the Service (recommendations, Continue Watching, My List), process subscriptions and coupons, secure your account and the Kids experience, send service notifications, and improve KalamPrime.
4. Payments
Card and payment details are handled by our payment partner and are not stored on KalamPrime servers. We retain only the transaction status needed to manage your subscription.
5. Cookies & Sessions
We use secure, HTTP-only session cookies (and a local token) to keep you signed in. These are essential to operate the Service.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run KalamPrime (e.g. payment and cloud infrastructure), or where required by law.
7. Children's Privacy
KalamPrime is intended for use under a parent or guardian's account. The Kids profile helps surface age-appropriate content. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children.
8. Data Retention & Security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. Passwords and Kids PINs are stored using industry-standard hashing.
9. Your Rights
You may access, correct or delete your account data, and cancel your subscription at any time from your settings. To exercise these rights, contact us.
